Student Action for a Sustainable Future
Student Action for a Sustainable Future (SASF) is an action and inquiry project for grade 5 - 8 students in Saskatoon. Led by the City of Saskatoon, partners include the SES, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, Saskatoon Public Schools, Saskatoon Light and Power, and the Sustainability Education Research Institute at the University of Saskatchewan. Supported by the partners, students from 12 schools develop, implement, and showcase inquiry and actions, which focus on five areas: waste, water, energy, food, and transportation, that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Saskatoon and around Saskatchewan.
