Nature Bracelet
Create your own wearable art straight from nature. Explore, collect, and design a beautiful bracelet that tells the story of your outdoor adventure!
What Do You Do?
- Wrap a piece of masking or painters tape around each child’s wrist with the sticky side facing out.
- Encourage children to explore the area and gently collect small natural treasures like leaves, flower petals, grass, seeds, or feathers.
- As they find items, they can press them onto the tape to create a one-of-a-kind nature bracelet. After finishing, children can admire and share their creations.

Safety Considerations:
Ensure children are collecting only safe, non-toxic, and non-allergenic items (avoid mushrooms, thistles, and unknown plants). Encourage children to find items on the ground to avoid wrecking plants. Supervise to make sure children aren’t picking protected or pollinator-friendly flowers in sensitive areas. Make sure children wash their hands after the activity.
