During the second week of school, the Taproots class was able to spend 3 days at Lumsden Beach Camp for an orientation and team building experience. We stayed in a cabin, prepared our meals as a group, and sang songs and told stories around the fire. The two nights that we spent at Lumsden Beach Camp provided an excellent opportunity for group bonding at the beginning of the school year. We were able to explore the camps many hiking trails and spend time out on the lake learning to canoe.
