Mr. Wagner’s class would like to sincerely thank SaskOutdoorsand Sask Lotteries for their generosity in providing our class with a grant. Mr. Wagner’s class was able to take part in 4 additional fieldtrips due to the generous support of SaskOutdoorsand Sask Lotteries.43 students took part as well as about 4 adults on each trip.Before the trips, Leave No Trace Ethics were discussed in class and students practiced hand gestures to memorize each of the ethics.At Beaver Creek Conservation Area we took part in a cross country ski interpretive program.
Through the programs, students developed a deeper respect and interest in the environment and outdoor education.After the trips, students were encouraged to spend more time in the outdoors with their family and friends and become more active in protecting the planet.
