Spring Reading Circle for Educators

SaskOutdoors has partnered with the Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) for their Spring Reading Circle for Educators!
The goal of this (FREE!!) reading circle is to explore alternative resources that can be used for the development of lessons and activities in the classroom that encompass a variety of narratives and ways of thinking. The TWO chosen books that will be discussed are:
BRAIDING SWEETGRASS by Robin Wall Kimmerer
and
BANANA LEAVES by Jessica Hernandez-Maya
Both books focus on Indigenous science and traditional knowledge being necessary to care for the world – plus so much more!
