Your Instructor:
Rollin Baldhead is Nêhiyaw (Cree) of One Arrow First Nation in Saskatchewan. As an Indigenous educator with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan, he now uses his degree and skill that he’s learned from his family, friends, and life experiences to teach in a classroom and on the land.
Throughout the course, Rollin will share stories that bring the language to life, connecting learners to the teachings, histories, and perspectives of Nêhiyaw. Special guests from his community and family will join to share their own stories and knowledge, enriching the experience with diverse voices and connections to the land.
Starting January 14, this 8-week online course is a welcoming space to learn the Cree language through story, culture, and connection. Led by Rollin Baldhead (One Arrow First Nation, SK), the sessions weave language with teachings that deepen your relationship to land and community.
Early bird pricing is available until December 14, and Indigenous participants are invited to join for free or at a reduced rate. Recordings are included for anyone who can’t attend live.
If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to expand your knowledge, support language revitalization, or bring cultural depth into your outdoor education practice, this is it.
