Ag in the Watershed

Eleven of the Saskatchewan watersheds have collaborated to provide educational materials for the new Saskatchewan Science 20 Curriculum being implemented in the fall of 2015.  These materials will promote awareness of the importance of agriculture and watershed stewardship via a student-directed study format.

Recognizing the need to offer resources that stimulate and inspire students, an online approach has be taken utilizing internet and mobile options.  The lesson content consists of 'real world scenarios' that have occurred or may occur within the watersheds.

These investigations are designed to accommmodate various levels of student proficiency. Through these explorations, students will achieve an understanding of the vital impact both of agriculture and watershed stewardship in Saskatchewan.
