Learn how to lead Project WET and Growing Up WILD Workshops!
Project WET is an instructional resource designed by teachers and water resource professionals FOR K-12 classroom teachers. It covers topics such as water chemistry, water quality and human health, climate and weather, water demand management, water conservation, cultural values about water, and how to launch action programs and develop water celebrations and water festivals.
Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education program that builds on children's sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Through a wide range of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills.
The workshop will be faciliated by Reid Dingwall and Deborah Gibson-Dingwall at NORTEP Campus in La Ronge.
Friday May 6 at 6pm - Sunday May 8 at 4pm
Please bring your own lunch. Snacks will be provided.
Registration is $25/person.
Registration include the workshop and a Project WET Activity Manual.
If you would like a Growing Up WILD Manual they are available for purchase ($25 each) with your registration or in-person at the workshop (please bring a cheque or cash)
