Royal Saskatchewan Museum, Regina
Get Outside! Kids Club

Registration is available on Nature Regina's webiste!

Please join Nature Regina, Nature Saskatchewan and SaskOutdoors presenting “Get Outside! Kids Club”.

The Get Outside! Kids Club will happen every Wednesday. Advanced registration is required. We will be repeating the same session at the same location two weeks in a row to accommodate more family groups.

Geared towards children aged 6-12. An adult must attend with children. You must register ALL children attending (even if they are younger than 6).

An outdoor education program where you can learn about science and learn a bit of French as well while participating in hands-on learning activities! Come and safely meet other at home learners including distance, e-school and homeschool learners!

Location for Wednesday, February 3rd and Wednesday, February 10th: beside the Royal Saskatchewan Museum
(we will use Wednesday, February 17th as a backup date in case we have to cancel one of these sessions due to inclement weather)

Please note: the February 3rd program will be THE SAME as the February 10th program.  We will visit a new location on Wednesday, February 24th! Please only sign up for one session as we have a tonne of families interested in this program and we want as many as possible to be able to participate.

On February 3rd and February 10th we’ll learn all about animal tracks in the winter time, what is happening to plants under the snow, how birds survive a Saskatchewan winter and we'll hopefully spot some birds. The Royal Saskatchewan Museum will be bringing their animal tracking program.

Cabela's has provided us with ice fishing tents and heaters plus hand and foot warmers as well as extra outdoor equipment like snow pants, hats, gloves and neck warmers. So, we'll have a great place to stay warm as we have our outdoor adventure!

We consulted with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and will be maintaining group sizes of a maximum of 10 people.
