Connecting Kids with Nature Workshop

Come out for a workshop and a two-night camping adventure full of learning and fun. This workshop will take place at Blue Mountain Adventure Park near North Battleford, Saskatchewan. The focus of this workshop will be taking an inclusivity approach to the outdoor classroom. Take home various teaching techniques and various subject-specific outdoor lessons that can apply to all grades.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Listen to teaching from First Nations Elders
- Build connections with other educators
- Participate in sensory activities to try with your students
- Enjoy some down time and engage in Blue Mountain Adventure Park opportunities such as zip-lining, canoeing, hiking and camping.

Tuesday, August 21st noon - 6:00 pm
Wednesday, August 22nd 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursday, August 23rd 9:00 am - noon

Blue Mountain Adventure Park, North Battleford SK
Cost:
$105 (meals and camping costs included)
This workshop will include breakfast, lunch and supper. You need to supply your own tent and camping gear.
