Looking for practical tools for teaching out on the land? SaskOutdoors is hosting a fun and practical training session aimed at introducing educators to the interdisciplinary Below Zero Activity Guide.

The Below Zero guide (included in price) is an educational program designed to promote understanding of wildlife under winter conditions featuring 46 complete lesson plans that can each be adapted for any age, grade or subject.

The workshop will be facilitated by Jana from Wildernook Fresh Air Learning.

During the six-hour Below Zero training workshop you’ll learn how to facilitate Below Zero lessons as well as how to adapt Below Zero for your own purposes. Please come dressed to actively participate outside. We invite you to visit the Canadian Wildlife Federation website to see a sample activity.
