An Intro to Canoeing

Learn about the basics of canoes and safety equipment! This event is for people who want to try canoeing for an evening. It is a come-and-go workshop, and people can idle as long as they like. Any age welcome, but children must be 16 to canoe without an adult.

Canoes, paddles and PFDs will be provided.

Date and Time: Thursday, May 24 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Location: Erindale Lake in John Avant Park near the corner of Kenderdine and Kerr Road (just off McOrmond Road) in Saskatoon. Please note that John Avant Park has no facilities and the nearest public washrooms are at the fast food outlets that are about a five minute drive.

Cost: FREE
